Cari Vuong is a freelance photographer living in New York City. His formal education in photography started at The School of Visual Arts where he immersed himself in the classical traditions of the dark-room. Thereafter, he continued his training as an assistant for renowned photographers such as Steven Klein, Wayne Maser, Steven Sebring, and Mark Abrahams to name a few. Now as a successful photographer in his own right, Cari utilizes his strong devotion towards a collaborative approach, ability to harmonize established techniques with a youthful and modern vision, as well as his talent for accentuating the subtle to work with clients throughout the world.

When he is not working on a commission, Cari can often be found in a field somewhere with his 4x5 camera, having a water balloon fight with his son, or on a surfboard.
